From July 2 to 5 at dusk, the town invites you to the 9th edition of the Soirées de la Pesquière for four free concerts on the waterfront, with danceable, nostalgic, lyrical and Latin atmospheres.
On the program: Wednesday July 3, Hommage à Claude Nougaro by the Filipe Loir quintet.
Claude Nougaro died 20 years ago. A great fan of jazz, Latin and African music, throughout his career the Toulousan artist combined French songs, poetry and rhythm, playing on the musicality of words.
Singer Filipe Loir, Claudio Celada on piano, Jo Labita on accordion, Gérard Pinçon on drums and Michel Cerny on double bass, swing through jazz standards by Charles Mingus, Thelonious Monk, Michel Legrand, Dave Brubeck, Didier Lockwood... On which the French artist admirably lays magnificent lyrics.
