As a prelude to the 31st edition of Les Suds festival, in Arles, and after a tour cancelled in 2025 for health reasons, Danyèl Waro will finally be back in Arles this spring!
A tutelary figure of maloya - Réunion's blues - each of the rare performances by this Creole shaman transports the audience into a cathartic communion (at Les Suds in 2002, 2007 and 2016). His message of revolt, hope and courage transcends Reunion culture to become a universal testimony, through the incantatory force of this ecstatic voice that has resonated in the four corners of the world.
