BOTOX(S), the Alpes & Riviera contemporary art network, is organising Les Visiteurs du Soir, a contemporary art festival, from 5 to 7 July 2024 in the Alpes de Haute-Provence and Hautes-Alpes departments.
The Les Visiteurs du Soir festival offers new experiences in contemporary art venues in the Southern Alps, with sound immersions, vernissages, nocturnes exploring the imaginary world of wildlife and visits to avant-garde exhibitions.
The programme
Saturday 6 July at 3pm: Guided tour of the exhibition by exhibition curator Mathilde Belouali, followed by a convivial moment at the art centre.
Exhibition Jill ou Face, by Pauline L. Boulba & Aminata Labor
Performers and researchers, the two artists have been investigating the work of American dance critic and activist Jill Johnston (1929-2010) for several years. This exhibition combines videos, real and fake archives, performances and scenographic elements.
