Created after a long immersion in the heart of the penal system, in particular immediate appearance procedures, Leviathan questions the functioning of justice and its limits.

Based on a text by Guillaume Poix, director and visual artist Lorraine de Sagazan draws inspiration from the practices of so-called transformative justice to offer an alternative to the traditional judge-punish-imprison scheme. In a courtroom reminiscent of a big top, three judgments inspired by true events will be delivered, accompanied by a witness who is also a convicted felon. But here, the shift in the actors' performances and the masks they wear, including the sudden appearance of a horse, the only symbol of gentleness and serenity, gives the show its power. An intense visual and theatrical experience that will stay with you for a long time!
