Imaginaries in the ancient Mediterranean. Meeting followed by a friendly aperitif and the presence of the L'Alinéa bookstore.
We welcome on this occasion the author Saint-Mitréen Michel Maisonneuve. The author will address the place of historical and mythological imaginations in the ancient Mediterranean of the first centuries of our era through his historical novel, "the journey of Arios" (2006) published by Gaïa editions.
Diverse subjects will punctuate the presentation of the work such as the female question through the existence of a matriarchy in the archaic period, the links between imaginations and history but also travels and political, cultural, nuns in the heart of an ancient Mediterranean marked by plural worlds.
