An experience combining a discovery of the city center and an ascent to the heights of Martigues, to admire the city at nightfall.
Begin your walk in the city center of Martigues, crossing the bridges, quays, and emblematic squares. Cross the Jardin de La Rode, a green space bordering the Étang de Berre. Then, begin the gradual ascent of the hill leading to the mill and the Notre-Dame-des-Marins chapel, the highest point in Martigues.
Arriving at the summit at dusk, enjoy a breathtaking view of the city, which slowly lights up as day gives way to night. A breathtaking panorama, perfect for lovers of urban landscapes and photography!
Distance: 9 km. Difficulty: Medium. Expected return: Around 7:30 p.m.
To round off this adventure, a hot drink (mulled wine or hot chocolate) will be offered upon arrival to warm you up and share a friendly moment.
You will be welcomed on the forecourt of the Martigues Tourist Office with Christmas carols.
