Mendelssohn par A.R. El Bacha et l'Orchestre de Cannes
"Sometimes free, sometimes learned". These are Beethoven's words, placed under the title of his Grosse Fuge, suggesting a great freedom of interpretation and the possibility of rereading. At the age of just 13, the young Mendelssohn, a contemporary of the Grosse Fuge, tried his hand at the concerto genre and the Concerto for Piano, Violin and Strings, which he premiered himself at the Berlin Schaulpielhaus.
