The Mini Sauveteurs Tour is an educational event for children aged 7 to 12. Carried out in partnership with MACIF since 2018, it will visit just over twenty beaches between Cannes and Calais, from 1 to 30 July.
Each stage will be an opportunity to raise children's awareness through play.
Objectives:
● Identify the risks of the seaside (getting lost, drowning, getting hurt)
● Learn what to do in the event of an accident
● Learn the emergency numbers and recognise the associated priority vehicles
● Use a semi-automatic defibrillator
● Place a victim in the lateral safety position
● Use emergency equipment
The various workshops will be led by a team of lifeguards from the SNSM.
Since the first edition of the Mini Sauveteurs operation in 2018, more than 4,300 children have been made aware of life-saving techniques and coastal risks.
