When the manager of a small funeral home dies, his loyal employees find themselves orphaned... and threatened with unemployment by the owner of the place, who smells an opportunity to reclaim the premises to open a restaurant.
A problem for him: an old contract stipulates that, as long as a member of the Latouche family runs the business, the premises are untouchable. The employees, seeing this as an opportunity to save their business, come up with the idea of calling on the deceased's son... a sex shop manager, allergic to coffins and completely unfamiliar with the funeral world. Between demanding customers, improbable ceremonies, and eccentric characters, he will have to learn how to bury the dead... while trying to save the living.
