Original works with Mediterranean influence for jazz sextet.
Mosaïc is a sextet of young artists from the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra’s Medinea sessions, which bring together the best artists from the Mediterranean basin whose inspiration is at the crossroads of jazz and traditional music. In a carefully constructed programme, they play their own compositions – all collectively conceived – in which we hear influences from the southern Balkans, the Maghreb, and the European jazz.
