At the MHAB-Musée d'Histoire et d'Art de Bormes les Mimosas, augmented reality is put to the service of history. For the first time, a French museum is offering a permanent exhibition based entirely around its collections and augmented reality.
With a collection of art dating from the end of the 19th century to the present day, as well as local history, the Musée de Bormes offers an immersive journey into the heart of the town's 2,400-year history.

Using the HistoPad tablet, travel through the ages and discover the strikingly realistic reconstructions created by the Histovery company. The Histopad, a touch-screen tablet, is given to each visitor as they enter the museum, enabling them to explore the permanent exhibition on the upper levels. Each station, a window onto a particular period or event, is the fruit of collaboration between the museum teams, Histovery and specialists in the various periods covered.

Thanks to the treasure hunt integrated into the itinerary, you and your family can travel from the 1st century BC to the present day. In addition to the permanent tour, enjoy temporary exhibitions on art and heritage.
