A workshop for 6-12 year olds to understand and reproduce the special effects used by Jean Cocteau in his films.
A filmmaker ahead of his time, Jean Cocteau developed many simple but highly inventive special effects in his films, particularly in his masterpiece Beauty and the Beast. The children take it in turns to become directors and actors, staging short sequences using the special effects used in the film.
