A workshop for 6-12 year-olds to practise light painting, the art of drawing in space using light.
Jean Cocteau, like his friend Pablo Picasso before him, tried his hand at Light Painting: he had himself photographed, tracing profiles in space with an electric lamp, fixing the line of light on the film. In the same way, and inspired by the attempts immortalised by these eminent artists, the children draw a motif with a small light.
Meet at 2pm at the Musée du Bastion, quai Napoléon III at the entrance to Menton's old port.
