The stylish musicians of CUMBIA BOOM BOX will be heating up the dance floor until the end of the night: a 100% female project that rocks the house with its electric and eclectic cumbia sound.
CUMBIA BOOM BOX is a female music group based in Poitiers, formed in 2024 when the singer from Collectif La Saugrenue met four musicians from the group Las Gabachas.
Their musical style is influenced by cumbia (Colombian music) and electronic sounds.
The band draws inspiration from traditional South American music and contemporary electronic music, offering original compositions.
Through a blend of styles, the respective influences of each musician, and their immersion in the traditional repertoire, this new project is a true fusion of cumbia and electronic music, offering a powerful image of a female team on stage.
This project is a musical sensation, with the main objective of sharing cumbia music and the joy of dancing.
