What is Nordic Walking?
It is a new concept of walking, more active, more fun and more beneficial.
The Association Martégale de Loisirs is organising the Nordic Walking Festival in the Grand Parc de Figuerolles in Martigues.
Three courses open to members and non-members:
For beginners: 10.5 km. Starts at 9.30am.
Leisure: 8.5 km. Starts at 9.45am.
Discovery: 6.5 km. Starts at 10am.

The benefits of Nordic walking :
- Develop the cardiovascular and respiratory systems.
- Prevent osteoporosis.
- Keeping fit, losing weight, getting back in shape after pregnancy, for socialising or just to unwind from work.

Who can practice Nordic Walking?
Because it is so easy to do and because it is a "healthy sport", Nordic walking is suitable for everyone, whatever their age or physical condition.
From teenagers to pensioners and experienced sportsmen, which makes it a very friendly and family-friendly discipline.

With the City of Martigues, the Conservatoire de Littoral, the CG 13 and Foyers ruraux 13.
