In a deserted bistro opposite a train station, Jacques Belin, the slightly cheesy star host of the TV game show L'Affaire est dans le sac, comes across Simone, a lost girl who has just been released from prison.
She's naive, popular, and colorful; he thinks he's gorgeous, chic, and trendy. To drown their loneliness, they unwittingly embark on a wild night, punctuated by the wild ramblings of the bartender, who's as clingy as he is talkative and a big fan of Jacques. With the help of alcohol, Simone and Jacques will tame each other, confide in each other, reinvent themselves, and grow closer. A lot... A little too much, even...
