Tuesday 30 July 2024 at 9.30pm, open-air cinema with debate on the theme of water at the Domaine du Petit Lac beach.
As part of the Ecrans du Lac festival, the Cinéma de Pays and the Parc du Verdon invite you to an open-air screening of the documentary "Verdon source de vie convoitée", directed by Mattia Trabucchi of France Nature Environnement.
After the screening, Corinne Guin (aquatic environment officer), Olivier Oller (river technician) from the Verdon Regional Nature Park and a member of the France Nature Environnement 04 network will join us for a discussion along the water.
Synopsis:
What's behind our tap, our shower, our swimming pool? Do we know the history, past and present conflicts and future challenges of our magnificent rivers?
An exploration of the Verdon, a magnificent river whose bed has always been a battleground for mankind, who wanted to cultivate it and escape the misery of the high mountains.

Bring suitable clothing (nights can be chilly) and a blanket.
