Come and enjoy sea urchins and seafood specialties by the water on the banks of the Étang de l'Olivier, Esplanade Charles de Gaulle (mini port side)
For over 25 years, the Sea Urchin Festival (Oursinades) has been the must-attend event in Istres, held in early March!

Food will be available on site, including sea urchins, shellfish platters, fisherman's stew, mussels and fries, seafood or meat burgers, as well as sweet treats such as crepes, waffles, and churros, not to mention the refreshment stands.

Live music will also be provided by Patrick David and Vanessa Smiled on Saturday, and Stud - French and international hits - on Sunday.

"Les Rameurs de l'Olivier" (The Rowers of the Olive Tree) will offer demonstrations and introductions to traditional rowing on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

The Sea Urchin Festival is organized by the City of Istres' Events Department in partnership with various local associations.
