David Brunel

He is a regular speaker at various art schools, foundations and cultural institutions. Regular lecturer at the Fondation Vincent van Gogh - Arles.
Prior to his university studies, he trained in photography at Serge Gal's school, Image Ouverte (which he later joined as a teacher and pedagogical manager). Whether his research concerns are critical, poetic or photographic (conferences, publications, exhibitions), they remain driven by the vast question of representation (as much on the creator's side as on the viewer's).
