Come and discover the photo exhibition A World Without Barriers at the La Ciotat Tourist Office, organised by the SolAir association. Fifteen portraits and audio testimonials offer a sensitive immersion into the world of disability. A powerful and inclusive human adventure.
The La Ciotat Tourist Office is hosting the exhibition Un Monde sans Barrière (A World Without Barriers), an immersive experience focusing on disability, created through a collaboration between sixth form students studying BTS NDRC, Ms Myriam Laskar (teacher) and the association SolAir – Laboratoire de Créativité.
This project highlights a powerful human adventure, where encounters with disability transform perceptions and create deep connections.
The exhibition consists of 15 portraits of people with visible or invisible disabilities. Each image is accompanied by an audio testimony, allowing visitors to hear the voices and life stories of the models.
Logbooks are also available to the public in several formats: Braille, FALC (Easy to Read and Understand) and classic version.
Already presented at the Maison Départementale de Lutte contre les Discriminations (Departmental Centre for Combating Discrimination) in Marseille, ESAT La Gauthière and Lycée Marcel Pagnol, the exhibition continues its tour and is now in La Ciotat for a new stage of awareness-raising.
Created in 2021 and based in La Ciotat, the SolAir association, a creativity laboratory, works to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities, whether visible or invisible, as well as to support carers. It develops awareness-raising activities through fun workshops, artistic projects and innovative cultural initiatives, with the aim of promoting a more inclusive society that is open to diversity.
A world without barriers invites everyone to overcome prejudice, open up to a better understanding of human diversity, and share an experience that is both sensitive and inspiring.
We invite you to come and discover this exhibition and experience this unique and moving encounter for yourself.
