For this new edition of the Haute Clarée international festival, it is Christian Blackshaw, pianist, who will open the ball. This will be the first recital played in France for this great English pianist. A discovery of the Clarée under a musical theme.
Born in 1949, he had a brilliant start to his career before retiring from concert halls at a very young age, following the death of his wife. It is only in 2010 that he made his great return to London, followed by numerous concerts in Europe, Russia and the United States. His visit, one month before the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris, is an event for which he wishes to present some of the works that are particularly close to his heart.
