Soprano Pretty Yende has established herself on the greatest international stages with her luminous and vibrant interpretation of the great romantic heroines: Lucia, Adina or Violetta. But it is in the melodic repertoire – in which she rarely but excellently performs – that she makes her debut at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence. Her programme, based on the motif of the musical evening – glorified by Latin composers – could not find a better setting than the Hôtel Maynier d'Oppède.
