The 6 Harmonies and 5 Elements Qi Gong workshop will be led by Me Ming Yue from Wudang, the cradle of Chinese Taoist arts.
Through 6 movements, this Qi Gong will develop our inner and outer connections, bringing together the microcosm and the macrocosm.
In his school, Maître Ming Yue teaches martial arts and traditional Chinese medicine. He already has many followers in Europe.
His motivating principle: "to be in good health is to nourish life".
Me Ming Yue practised martial arts from an early age, and at 15 became a disciple of Shifu Tian LiYang, heir to the Xuanwu style generation of Wudang. He then practised in the mountains for around fifteen years, achieving an excellent mastery of all the Taoist internal martial arts: Qi Gong, Taiji, Xingyi, Bagua, both with and without weapons.
His accompanist and translator Feng Qin Yan will lead a traditional tea ceremony. This meditative tasting will take us on a journey of flavour and refinement to the heart of Taoist China. Friday 24 May from 5pm to 7pm in a private residence.
With the support of Ciné Palace and the municipal library.
