Readings and meetings around the book Traverser la nuit avec Sapho at the médiathèque auditorium.
Born in Marrakech into a Judeo-Moroccan family, Sapho arrived in Paris at the age of eighteen. She switched from theater to song, while at the same time beginning a literary career. In her music, she blends the vitality of rock with the Berber, Hispanic, Oriental and African influences she carries within her.
This "singer of the world", unclassifiable and polyglot, weaves all these cultures into a musical and literary work, both lyrical and restrained, which takes her to the four corners of the globe.
