An atypical, multi-faceted personality, pianist Paul Montag has performed since childhood on major stages throughout Europe, the United States, Canada, Asia and North Africa.
He is one of the few contemporary pianists to have had the privilege of performing several times in Salzburg on W.A. Mozart's original fortepiano. Professor at the Paris Conservatoire and the École Normale de Musique de Paris. Paul Montag was introduced to the piano at the age of 4.
His discography is unanimously acclaimed by the specialist press (Choc de Classica, 5 Diapasons...).
Winner of the Fondation Cziffra and the Prix Charles Oulmont from the Fondation de France, he has shared the stage with numerous partners, including Pumeza Matshikiza, Rolando Villazon, Karine Deshayes, Hugues Borsarello... and Raphaël Sévère, with whom he has formed a duo for several years.
