Revendran is an event celebrating the descent of sheep flocks from the mountain pastures. Accompany the flock, meet the shepherds, demonstrations, educational activities, exhibitions, musical street shows, crafts and shepherd's soup.
Since the dawn of time, the Verdon mountain pastures have been a land of pastoralism and transhumance. Every summer, thousands of sheep take to the roads and paths of the transhumance to climb the mountain pastures from Provence, where they spend the summer months.
Revendran (they'll be back in Provençal) is an event celebrating the descent of flocks of sheep from the mountain pastures. A festive shepherds' soup punctuates the event, which attracts thousands of visitors every year.
