Youngsters from kindergarten through to high school will be showcasing their inventions and robotic exploits on the theme of the underwater world.
9 teams of youngsters from CM1 to lycée will be competing for one of two places in the national final, and over 30 children from maternelle to CE2 will be presenting their research and performances in robotics, technology and programming.
During the day, each team will set up a stand and go before a panel of experts to present their innovative idea, then onto the competition tables where their robot will have 2 min 30 to carry out imposed missions.
The world's biggest challenge, with 350,000 participants from 90 countries, challenges teams of young people aged 9 to 16 to solve problems in a given scientific field, using a professional approach. Over the course of the school year, they are required to think about a given theme, then design and program a robot made of "intelligent" LEGO® bricks, capable of completing a series of tasks in a limited time.
A great opportunity for the whole family to discover the world of robotics!
