How does climate change affect health?
Researchers agree that there are major changes in the world's climate. Human activities are a major contributor to these changes. What are the consequences of climate change on health? We will talk here about global health, human health (state of physical, mental and social well-being) but also the health of other living beings and the environment (air, water, soil, etc.) which are interdependent. We will discuss the direct consequences on health (induced by heat waves, drought, floods, storms, tsunamis), and the indirect consequences (transmission of disease by vectors such as mosquitoes, disruption of human activities, migration, eco-anxiety...). So what can we do to turn things around? We will share some of the ways forward.
