The 5-a-side rugby tournament in the heart of the Alps!
The Rugby Club du Pays Briançonnais is organising the 5th edition of its tournament on snow. Male and female players will compete on the Col du Lautaret, in the heart of the Serre Chevalier valley in Briançon (Hautes-Alpes).
The Southern Rugby League is proud to support this unique project, which showcases rugby and one of our region's most beautiful locations!
The tournament will take place in the same format as the previous version.
The 16 teams are divided into 4 pools and play 3 ranking matches.
Depending on their ranking, the teams are drawn into 4 final tournaments:
The Cup for the first 4,
The Plate for the second 4,
The Bowl for the third 4,
The Shield for the fourth 4.
Each team will have the opportunity to play 5 matches, making a tournament with 80 matches in one day, with the addition of a new feature in 2026, the gala match.
The programme is currently being put together by the organisers.
