Tuesday April 8, 6pm: Screening of the film "Rhapsodie des origines : transhumance en Provence" by Cyrille Larrieux, followed by discussions with local sheep farmers. The evening ends with a friendly drink.
The aim of this exhibition is to question the extraordinary capital of knowledge, know-how, domestic breeds, production, protected areas and landscapes, whose main protagonist is the transhumant sheep herder. And here, in the SUD Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, where transhumance resists and can endure with the support of all, to question the future of this age-old practice, often relegated to the rank of "tradition".
