‘La Banda a Cana’ is a 100% Nice-language creation. Something new in the musical landscape of Nice, with songs set to more contemporary music. Friendly lyrics, tinged with a hint of chauvinism, with a short presentation in French before or after each song to help with comprehension. Everything is covered: pétanque, mushrooms, pan bagnat, aperitifs with friends, fishing, traffic in Nice, the atmosphere at the stadium, addiction to social networks, eco-responsibility... All set to a range of musical styles including ballads, flamenco rumba, pop nissarda, gypsy jazz, salsa, reggae, blues and even a waltz! So ‘La baieta en toui’ (The kiss to everyone) as Madama Rata, our mascot, would say.
