David Lafore boum boum is an explosive duo made up of David Lafore, an unclassifiable singer-performer, and Gildas Etevenard, an exalted and subtle drummer. Together, they deliver an acoustic concert that's as theatrical as it is intimate, where music flirts with the absurd, poetry and improvisation

On stage: one guitar, one drum kit, two voices, and an infallible complicity. David Lafore, teasing, offbeat, tender and unpredictable, plays with words and silence, while Gildas Etevenard, with his finesse and energy, sculpts the rhythm and sound space. Naturally, the acoustics create a sense of closeness and warmth. The result? A suspended moment, funny and touching, where we laugh, cry, dream and vibrate.

This show was designed for the Festival Off d'Avignon, in an acoustic version that reveals all the richness of this singular duo. It overturns the codes of the concert to take us into a world of its own, that of a duo with an amazing groove.
