"Thélonius and Lola" is a funny, poetic fable that tackles the issues of difference and racism. Serge Kribus delicately suggests the appropriate responses to a society that decides to banish an entire group: curiosity, empathy, intelligence and resistance. As she explores the world, Lola observes all living things as her equals. A character of invigorating charm and contagious determination, she gives us fresh air and the desire to follow her.
Between theatre, music and dance, the show brings to life the magical world of children's fables, where animals speak and children lead the way.
