Every summer, the legendary Feria de Méjanes puts the horse in the spotlight at a typically Camargue festival in a festive family atmosphere!
For this day under the sign of the horse, the course will be as follows:
-Olivier Faure Championship sorting competition (open to 30 riders)
The competition will take place in the sorting yard, in two stages.
1st passage in the morning from 10:00 to 12:00 for 15 riders
2nd run in the afternoon, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, 15 riders.
-Models and gaits (open to 50 horses)
Throughout the day, in the Arènes de Méjanes, model and gait competitions.
In the morning for females, from 9am to 12pm, foaled mares and 2-year-old and 3-year-old mares in hand.
Afternoon from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm for 2-year-old and 3-year-old males in hand
-Maniabilité chrono and Parcours en pays (open to 50 riders)
From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the timed maneuvering will take place in the arena. The cross-country course will take place on the banks of the Étang de Vaccarès.
4:30 pm - General prize-giving ceremony on the Place des Arènes
-6:00 p.m. - 53rd Réjon d'Or Corrida in the Méjanes Arena
