Synopsis:
"Here's the station: she's the main character, she knows it and makes it known. This is the station: men in a hurry, women with children, magazines, cats, suitcases on wheels, gangs of brawlers, wanderers, electric families, ghosts from all over the world, anonymous people the colour of smoke, lunatics who talk to themselves, come and go. This is Central Station: a place of bruised histories, disjointed decisions and victorious flights, a place of hot tears and clasped hands and hasty oaths, a place of last smiles, words never to be forgotten and kisses given for life, this is departure."
