Theatrical play.
It's now been six months since Carole and Charles bought a small ruined farmhouse in the countryside, two hours' drive from Paris, which they are restoring themselves. For them, life seems to flow smoothly, between vegetable gardening, living close to nature and appreciable peace and quiet, far from the big city.
Carole doesn't work; she looks after the house and decorates it, which leaves Charles plenty of time to write his novels and screenplays, which are struggling to appeal to the general public.
Pierre and Marie are the two protagonists' best friends. After six months apart, it's time to invite them to spend the weekend in their new home. But on the way, as they get lost on the road, they try to reach their friends, who don't answer. Unfortunately for them, Pierre hangs up on them, and the answering machine records their entire conversation.
Charles and Carole, discovering for the first time what their best friends really think of them, decide to take revenge... in their own way.
Gags, misunderstandings, lies... here's the program for a weekend with friends that promises to be indigestible!
