As a prelude to the establishment of the Accrorap Company in the South of France, this piece is an invitation by the choreographer Kader Attou to a dozen or so professional hip hop dancers from the region to invest in his artistic universe.
This "all terrain" piece, presented for the first time as part of the Marseille festival, is intended to reach out to all audiences and to take hip hop dance to places where it is not expected, to the edges of choreographic writing, in order to weave links between the actors of the territory and the artists.
Prélude is the story of the encounter between Romain Dubois' music and the physicality of the dancers. The music, a rhythmic and melodic crescendo, holds us in an intensity that becomes tension. The dancers' virtuosity beats in unison with the music and the audience's attention.
