For its 18th edition, the famous Fontaine Trail is back with a packed programme, technical courses and a new vertical challenge that will put your legs to the test!
Saturday 31 January: The Vertical Challenge (New!)
For the first time, the Fontaine Trail is opening up to a Vertical format on the steep slopes of the village. (Starts from 2pm)
1/4 KV (Vertical Kilometre): 1.6 km with 250 m elevation gain. A steep and intense climb to test your explosiveness.
1/2 KV: 2.2 km with 500 m elevation gain. Double the fun (and pain) for experienced climbers.
Sunday 1 February: Nature Trails
Four distances to choose from to discover the exceptional panoramic views above the famous resurgence:
The Grand Trail (25 km - 1,100 m elevation gain): the route for experts.
The Short Trail (14 km - 780 m elevation gain): a dynamic and intense format, ideal for kicking off your trail running season.
The Discovery Race (7 km - 250 m elevation gain): accessible to all, introducing you to trail running in a unique setting.
The Initiation (5 km - 250 m elevation gain): for young runners.
