Transhumance festival in the village of Paradou! Mr Galle, a shepherd from Paradou, will be leading his flock through the village to remind us of the days of transhumance.

Sunday 12 April, transhumance through the streets of Le Paradou village with over 700 sheep
On the programme:
✨ A parade of sheep and donkeys through the streets (starting at 11am)
Music and dancing
Children’s entertainment with La Malle de la Routo
Small market selling local produce

♂️ Discovery walk
This year, the Jacobean association is organising a walk along the Routo (GR 69), the transhumance route, on the Fontvieille-Le Paradou section. (10km) Departure from Fonvieille at 8.30am - Arrival at Le Paradou at 11am. Packed lunch at 12.30pm in the presbytery courtyard.
