Rather than an exhaustive enumeration of the many dangers associated with the urban environment, which could lead to public fatigue, the analysis focuses on urban risks that impact on the physical, mental and social dimensions of health. A historical perspective will introduce a reflection on urban risks, which are often discreet, but have long been part and parcel of the dynamics of city life.
