The archaeological site of Tholon is one of the major vestiges of the history and heritage of Martigues. Bordered by the Etang de Berre, this emblematic place is the subject of a visit where the history of a Gallo-Roman agglomeration, Maritima Avaticorum and that of the water supply of Ferrières and L'Île are discussed. by the presence of hydraulic constructions that marked the martegal memory.
