Come and visit one of the works of the Maginot Line of the Alps. Discover the Saint-Ours Haut structure, made of concrete and steel, built between 1930 and 1936. It flanked Roche-la-Croix and blocked the road to the Col de Larche.

This mixed work (artillery and infantry) has 5 combat blocks, 5 armoured bells, 4 mortars, 5 twin machine gun battlements and a crew of around 240 men. It has an entrance block and two combat blocks visible from the outside. Its network of underground galleries makes it the largest completed Maginot fort in the valley.
