On 7 July 1973, the national museum dedicated to the work of Marc Chagall, who was born in Vitebsk (Belarus) on 7 July 1887, opened in Nice. The Friends of the Museum association was born with the museum. It has always celebrated these two anniversaries, and this year, 2023, will be even more so, as we celebrate the 50th anniversary!
