For over 50 years, the elite of Olympic sailing have been meeting in Hyères at the end of April. In 2026, from April 18 to 25, the 57th edition of La SOF will be the third major multi-series event for the best Olympic sailors in the Sailing Grand Slam (SGS).
The 10 Olympic series will compete: ILCA (men's and women's single-handed dinghy), 49er (men's and women's double-handed dinghy), Nacra 17 (mixed double-handed catamaran), 470 (mixed double-handed dinghy), Formula Kite (men's and women's kitefoil), iQFOiL (men's and women's windfoil).
The aim of the Sailing Grand Slam (SGS) is to create an international series from events already well established on the Olympic sailing circuit. It combines four events in Europe, one of which will take place on the same waters as the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic regatta.
