A workshop for 6-12 year-olds to make a shield inspired by those created by Jean Cocteau for a play.
This workshop focuses on the sets and costumes designed by Jean Cocteau for his plays and ballets... and sometimes even made by his own hands, like the shields of the soldiers in La Machine Infernale, which are both works of art and theatrical props. Children can recreate them using the same materials and techniques as the artist.
Meet at 2pm at the Musée du Bastion, quai Napoléon III at the entrance to Menton's old port.
