Smoke-free beach. Since 2013 the Levant beach has been classified as "excellent quality".

Le Levant beach is a small beach located in the heart of the city. A stone's throw from the shops Parking nearby Equipment: first aid and information post, showers (+ WC in the car park). At the municipal council meeting of 25 February 2015, the municipality undertook to certify the management of bathing water quality in order to guarantee the sanitary bathing conditions for beach users. At the end of the first audit carried out in July 2015, confirmed by the 2016 audit, the commune obtained its certification for the management of bathing water quality. "The five bathing areas of Sanary-sur-Mer are regularly monitored from April to September by the Regional Health Agency (Official website: https://baignades.sante.gouv.fr/editorial/fr/accueil.html). The classification of the quality of a bathing water is defined on the basis of the results obtained over the last 4 years. »

Watched beach from 1st June until September 30 from 10am to 7pm. In April and May the beach is supervised every day during the holidays in all areas, including weekends and public holidays.
