"Levant beach is a very small pebble beach located in the city center. For the year 2025, as part of the 'bathing water quality' approach, it was classified as 'excellent quality'."

Just a stone’s throw from the shops Parking nearby Facilities: first-aid and information station, showers (+ restrooms in the parking lot). Swimming safety is ensured by certified lifeguards (BNSSA), assisted by first-aid responders (PSE2): From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., daily from June 1 to August 31, on all beaches. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., daily from September 1 to 30, on all beaches. At the city council meeting on February 25, 2015, the municipality committed to obtaining certification for the management of bathing water quality in order to guarantee safe bathing conditions for beachgoers. Since the first audit conducted in July 2015, this certification has been confirmed following an annual audit carried out by an independent inspection agency.

Tips
To protect young people, keep our beaches free of cigarette butts, and preserve marine life, our town is taking action. Smoking and vaping on the beach are now prohibited by decree, with a €135 fine for violators. Thank you for protecting our environment!
