Ideally located in the heart of the village, the Sablet Library—which covers an area of 135 square meters and is housed on the ground floor of a building that was once a stagecoach station—welcomes readers in search of literary joy.
With a collection of 5,422 books, including 1,685 children’s books, 3,037 for adults, plus 700 titles loaned by the Vaucluse Department’s Book and Reading Service and renewed twice a year—readers can choose from a wide selection of novels, mysteries, non-fiction, comic books, and more…
From the picture window on the children’s section side, we can see “La Fontaine” on Yvan Audouard Square, named after Yvan Audouard, who was a passionate advocate for Sablet’s Book Day.

Outside of public opening hours, the library hosts classes from “La Fontaine des Fées” school every Tuesday and, twice a month on Thursday mornings, the toddlers from “Les P’tits Malins” daycare.
