On Wednesday October 1, 2025, a boulder fall was observed at the foot of a cliff along a path leading to the Sugiton and Pierres Tombées creeks. The initial geotechnical diagnosis carried out at the request of the City of Marseille had imposed the closure of the entire Calanque de Sugiton and access to the Calanque des Pierres tombées until further notice. Since then, drainage work has been carried out, making the site accessible again.
