Description
Class II - V
Navigable only in spring, between May and June.
From the Gorges de Paluel to Uvernet-Fours, it's a beautiful river with a steep gradient.
As if the Ubaye river wasn't rich enough, the valley also has a navigable tributary, the Bachelard.
Rising in the heart of the Mercantour National Park, in the Cayolle valley, this mountain stream flows for 27km before joining the Ubaye.
Along the 8 km of navigable stretch, it offers a technical and manoeuvrable course.
Sporting and technical, it reveals another facet of rafting in Ubaye, in an imposing and unspoilt setting, between vertiginous walls and larch forests.
